Job Title: Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
About the Role
Veritas Education is currently recruiting passionate and reliable Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in East London. This flexible role is perfect for candidates looking for part-time work with the potential to take on short-term full-time placements.
You will be working on an adhoc, day-to-day basis, covering staff absences or providing 1:1 or small group SEN support. Some placements will be offered on the morning of the workday, while others may come with advance notice.
Responsibilities
* Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assisting class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils\' educational and emotional development
* Adapting support to meet individual needs
* Promoting a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for all pupils
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
* Must be available for early morning calls (from 7:00am onwards)
* Willingness to travel up to 1 hour via public transport or car across East London
* Flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential
* Must be fully vetted (Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply, references, Right to Work documentation, etc.)
