The Role:
You'll be working closely with the Head of Conveyancing and experienced Residential Property team, supporting a varied caseload of sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
2. Preparing contracts, handling searches, and liaising with clients and third parties
3. Managing post-completion formalities
4. Providing excellent client care and ensuring smooth transactions from start to finish
5. Handling a small caseload independently (if experienced) and assisting the Head of Residential Property with more complex matters
About You:
6. Minimum 2+ years experience in a conveyancing support role, either as a Conveyancing Assistant or Junior Conveyancer
7. Strong knowledge of the residential property process
8. Ideally some experience handling a conveyancing caseload independently - fee-earning experience would be highly desirable
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
10. A team player with a proactive approach
