We are seeking an experienced Fixed Wire Tester (Out of Hours) / Electrical Compliance Engineer to work across the ISS account, delivering high-quality Fixed Wire Testing, ECIRs, and associated remedial works.
This role will suit a self-motivated and organised individual who is confident working independently and committed to maintaining exceptional standards of safety and compliance.
Job Description
You will play a key role in ensuring all electrical inspection, testing and remedial works are carried out in full accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition, meeting both company expectations and statutory requirements.
As a representative of the business, you will consistently provide a professional service, support excellent customer relationships, and ensure documentation and reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete Fixed Wire Testing and produce ECIR reports across the ISS account.
* Undertake remedial electrical works as identified by the specialist electrical team.
* Ensure all electrical works comply with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations.
* Maintain high standards of quality, service delivery and professional presentation.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and internal ISS HSEQ policies.
* Manage customer relationships proactively, addressing concerns or escalating where required.
* Accurately maintain and submit all records, certificates and vehicle documentation in line with company procedures.
* Stay fully aware of contractual obligations and customer requirements at all times.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Proven experience in Fixed Wire Testing within commercial environments.
* 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
* City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent).
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
