Are you interested in Geotechnical ground investigation for construction? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Senior Engineer / Geologist as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed. We are looking for reliable, flexible and driven individuals to join our Geotechnical Team within the Infrastructure Division. You will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country and should be proactive and independent while being a strong team player with good management skills and industry experience.
Responsibilities
* Day to day responsibility for planning, supervision and programming of Ground Investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom
* Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, and assist with managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment
* Liaise with clients / engineers / main contractors throughout the site works phase
* Compile monthly financial project accounts and assist the GI Projects Manager in maintaining the financial performance of projects
Qualifications
* Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline
* Full UK driving licence
* Minimum level of fitness required to undertake all site based tasks on a variety of sites including active construction sites and linear projects for roads and railways
* 5 - 10 years relevant site and industry experience
