Job Overview
This role is a 0-19 Team Lead secondment for one year, leading, managing, coordinating and developing the 0-19 Service in line with local operating procedures and policies. The Team Lead must demonstrate positive role modelling, facilitate and lead change, support the Operational Manager in practice, and maintain a clinical element of the Health Visiting role with a commitment to embedding service development and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, coordinate and develop the 0-19 service ensuring quality delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
* Analyse data and care records to monitor delivery against key performance indicators and quality standards.
* Develop strong links with partners, including Local Authority, Education, Schools, Early Years and Family Centres.
* Manage individual staff absence and sickness, assist in staff cover for vacancies, annual leave, sickness, study leave, etc.
* Support and promote trust values and SCARF principles (Safe, Compassionate, Accountable, Reflective, Fair).

Education & Qualifications
* SCPHN Qualification in Health Visiting.
Experience
* Leadership and management of skill mix teams.
* Managing change.
* Experience of supervision (e.g., Clinical safeguarding or management) – desirable.
Skills & Knowledge
* Ability to manage conflict.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
* Strong professional leadership skills.
