We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in East Suffolk to assist with the appointment of an Electrician, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £18.35 - £23.40 per hour
Summary:
Responsibilities:
* Carry out domestic electrical works including rewiring, testing & inspection
* Ensure full compliance with NICEIC rules and 18th Edition regulations
* Complete safe isolation procedures and leave properties safe and tidy
* Diagnose faults in 230v and 400v systems
* Complete all job sheets, certification & required paperwork
Qualifications:
* City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition BS:7671 qualification
* GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in domestic electrical maintenance
* Inspection, testing and fault-finding experience
* Competent completing NICEIC certification
* Confident working at heights and in confined spaces
* Good digital skills (smart devices, Outlook, tablets)
* Full UK driving licence
