About the Role
We're hiring a Business Development Director to lead new business efforts at a pivotal stage of agency growth. This role is strategic and hands-on working closely with leadership to build and implement a scalable sales function. If successful, the role may transition into a permanent position with a revised compensation package.
You'll be responsible for developing the growth strategy, generating leads, owning the pipeline, and driving revenue from pitch through to contract. You'll also shape internal sales practices and contribute to the agency's commercial maturity.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a new business acquisition strategy aligned with long-term growth objectives
* Collaborate with leadership to define commercial priorities and annual revenue targets
* Identify and prioritize target client sectors and ideal customer profiles
* Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal close
* Lead outbound and inbound outreach, qualifying leads and presenting proposals
* Drive commercial negotiations and manage the handover to delivery teams
* Improve pitch materials and positioning to suit evolving market needs
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a commercial focused role within an agency (Social/Influencer Marketing) - we're looking at 5 years as a minimum and someone who has held a senior title.
* Hands on experience with influencer marketing
