We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Costing/Stock Administrator to join our manufacturing team. This key role supports the effective management of stock and costing processes using bespoke textile manufacturing software and Sage 200. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring stock accuracy, correct costing, and the seamless tracking of products throughout their production journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input costings into a bespoke textile manufacturing software covering all aspects of Work in Progress (WIP).
* Ensure invoices are entered correctly into Sage 200 and aligned with internal costing records.
* Validate cloth and materials have been correctly transferred between systems and ensure consistency across platforms.
* Monitor the movement of items through the full WIP process, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
* Revalue stock based on updated and confirmed costings.
* Oversee physical and system-based stockholding, ensuring accurate stock and appropriate adjustments.
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and support stock audits as required.
* Liaise with multiple departments (e.g., production, finance, purchasing) to ensure smooth process flow and communication.
* Manage tasks that may span several days or weeks, maintaining continuity and ensuring nothing is missed.
* Support process improvements in stock and costing accuracy.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a stock control, costing, or manufacturing admin role.
* Experience using Sage 200 and bespoke or industry-specific manufacturing software (textile experience is a plus).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with numerical data.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks over time.
* Confident communicator who can liaise effectively with internal departments.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Background in textile or manufacturing industries.
* Experience with costing systems or stock revaluation processes.
* Familiarity with WIP tracking and reporting.
