Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all front-of-house operations: service, staffing, customer experience.
* Recruit, train, supervise front-of-house staff.
* Manage reservations, customer feedback, and service quality.
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety in the dining area.
* Coordinate with the kitchen on service times, special orders, menu changes.
* Control costs: labour, food wastage, supplies.
* Maintain stock, order front-of-house supplies (linen, cutlery, etc.).
* Foster a welcoming, efficient, profitable environment for both staff and customers.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience managing a restaurant or similar hospitality business.
* Strong leadership and team-management skills.
* Excellent customer service ethos; problem solving to resolve complaints.
* Budgeting, cost control, profit & loss awareness.
* Understanding of licensing, hygiene, and safety regulations.
