Main Function / Purpose of Job
We are looking to recruit an internal account Manager based at our Chesterfield Site, reporting direct to Customer Service Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales/dispatch process and customer support and will be the customer's main communication point within the company. They will be responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met at all times on a right-first-time basis, managing the customer requirements from the point of order to delivery of materials. The main purpose of this job is to manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the relationship with the customer in order to build strong customer links, provide an enhanced service, improve response times and sales growth within the organisation.
The successful candidate should and have extensive cultural and competitor awareness.
Skills & Experience
* Strong administration experience is essential
* Experience organising transport with external freight forwarders would be an advantage
* Previous experience of producing and verifying Dangerous Goods Notes, and other transport related documentation would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
* Experience in using ERP systems to support customer forecasts
* Experience in using warehouse scheduling systems
* Be able to work to externally set, time critical deadlines with multiple customer responsibility, within a customer focused environment
* Be confident in managing the multiple demands of prestige multi-national brands/customers across internal departments
* Ability to demonstrate sales, communication and reporting skills both internally and externally
* Strong organisational and prioritising skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels
* Computer literate and have a good working knowledge of computer systems with a focus on accuracy
* Computer literate in both Word/Excel is essential
* Previous experience working within a similar role, either sales or export related would be an advantage
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm / Friday 8am - 1.30pm
