What youll be doing
In this mobile service role, youll take ownership of the maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of industrial-size chillers and refrigeration systems across customer sites. Youll be a key technical point of contact, trusted to diagnose issues, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and respond to breakdowns efficiently and safely.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial refrigeration and chiller plant
* Carrying out PPM and reactive call-outs
* Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control faults
* Producing clear service reports and recommending improvements
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard
* Working independently on site while collaborating closely with the wider service team

What were looking for
* Refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience working on industrial refrigeration and large-scale chillers
* Experience with HFC systems and ideally ammonia and/or CO2
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and system layouts
* F-Gas 2079 and ammonia handling certification
* Familiarity with major OEMs such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, Howden
* Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
* Full UK driving licence
