Overview
We’re offering graduates a unique opportunity to begin a fully salaried, two-year pathway into teaching, in partnership with Teaching Personnel. Starting as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) in September 2025, you’ll gain practical school experience before moving into a salaried teacher training programme that leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Programme Breakdown
Year 1 – Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Work alongside experienced teachers in the classroom
* Support students one-to-one and in small groups
* Assist with planning, resources, marking, and behaviour management
* Engage in CPD, training days, and school events
* Gain insight into school life and teaching practice
Year 2 – Salaried Teacher Training
* Transition into a salaried Initial Teacher Training (ITT) placement
* Take on increasing teaching responsibilities
* Receive mentoring, lesson feedback, and targeted training
* Work towards achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Who We're Looking For

* A bachelor’s degree (any subject)
* GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
* A genuine interest in working with children and young people
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
