Dental Receptionist – Gloucester Join our friendly and professional team at Affinity Dental & Implant Centre and become the welcoming face of our modern, well-equipped practice. Affinity Dental is based on the north side of Gloucester with excellent road access to Cheltenham, Ross-on-Wye, and destinations off the M5. Established for over 18 years, the practice has built a strong local reputation and enjoys a loyal patient following. As a Dental Receptionist, you will not only handle front-of-house duties but also take on Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities, guiding patients through their treatment journey and ensuring every visit is seamless and positive. The Role We are looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist (38.5 hours per week) to join our team. You will combine reception duties with patient coordination, supporting both patients and clinicians while helping the practice operate efficiently. Working hours: Monday: 08:00 – 17:00 Tuesday: 10:00 – 19:00 Wednesday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 Your Responsibilities Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impression Managing patient appointments and maintaining an efficient diary Acting as a key point of contact for patients, supporting them throughout their treatment journey Coordinating treatment plans and follow-up appointments with the clinical team Handling patient enquiries in person and over the phone Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records Supporting clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Helping create a positive and caring experience for every patient What We’re Looking For A friendly, professional, and organised individual Excellent communication and customer service skills Previous dental reception or patient coordination experience is beneficial Someone who enjoys supporting patients and building strong relationships A team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail Join Our Team If you enjoy working in a patient-focused, modern dental practice and take pride in delivering excellent service, we would love to hear from you.
