NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This is a part-time role, working 22 hours per week on a 7-day rota, including public holidays, with a mix of 7.5-hour and 12-hour shifts. The successful applicant will primarily be based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH) but will also provide cross-cover services across other NHS GGC sites.
(Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinical photographer with a broad portfolio to deliver high-quality clinical and ophthalmic photography services. You will be part of a supportive team, responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and secure imaging to support patient care.
You will also contribute to the development of our services and staff through training, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.

* A degree in Clinical Photography or equivalent experience
* Full membership of a recognized professional body
* Registration with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) Register for Medical Illustrators
* Proven experience in ophthalmic photography
A full driving license and access to a personal vehicle are essential. All applicants must be willing to join the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme.
