Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, a CQC Outstanding-rated organisation, is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health Team for the South of the county, based in Northampton.
We are offering a £40,000 welcome bonus to the successful candidate, paid over the course of your first two years in post. The structure of the team has recently changed, and we have recently recruited a Speciality doctor to support this Consultant role. Main duties of the job
The post holder will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will need to be a born leader and a people person who loves to collaborate and innovate. You need to be MRC psych or equivalent with full registration, licensed and specialist registered or within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the Advisory Appointment Committee. The ability to travel to all locations within the Trust is essential.

Qualifications/Registration
* Full GMC Registration
* MBBS or equivalent
Desirable
* Additional higher medical/scientific qualification relevant to the specialty
* GMC Specialist Registration or commitment to obtain via CESR
* S12 registered
* MRCPsych
Communication Skills
* Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
* Evidence of the ability to communicate with patients, colleagues and staff at all levels
Leadership & Management
* Ability to motivate and develop Junior Medical Staff and other MDT Members
* Balance individual requirements against those of the Directorate and Trust
