ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Perform daily pre-start checks according to site controls and code of practice
2. Understand various pieces of robotic equipment, ensuring they are running at peak performance
3. Robot programming and all troubleshooting
4. Perform all touch point functions involved in operation of robotic welder
5. Positions and secures work pieces using proper equipment
6. Fully satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale
7. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Leader
8. Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards
9. Monitor products to ensure they meet customer specifications, taking corrective action when necessary
ABOUT YOU
10. Robotic welding experience or knowledge within a manufacturing sector
11. Strong understanding of robot control interface with ancillary equipment
12. A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
14. Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
15. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
