Solicitor - Military - Cardiff - 0-3 Years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
A respected UK law firm is seeking two Solicitors with 0-3 years' post-qualification experience to join its specialist Military Department in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a collaborative environment, focusing on claims involving military deafness and non-freezing cold injuries.
The Role
* Taking initial client enquiries and drafting witness evidence
* Managing high volumes of disclosure documents
* Updating clients and handling telephone enquiries
* Assisting in instructing counsel
* Preparing court documents and detailed schedules of loss
* Assessing complex medical conditions and reviewing medical reports
* Reviewing expert reports (acoustic engineering, occupational health, environmental, military training)
* Advising on breach of duty and quantum offers
* Supervising and supporting the Paralegal team
Candidate Requirements
* 0-3 years PQE (claimant litigation exposure essential)
* Experience managing a caseload independently
* Previous experience with noise-induced hearing loss claims (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong organisational skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent client care and communication skills
