This role covers the Key Account interface between Prysmian UK PD Business Unit and its Utility, Contracting and Rail infrastructure customers. We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our busy Commercial team in the Power Distribution market. Our focus is on "Business to Business" sales of underground cables where you will have direct customer contact as we aim to develop customer relationships with major UK clients who work in the Energy, Rail and Renewable industries. The Power Distribution network is expected to see significant investment in the near future as the distribution grid is enhanced to deliver projects such Electric Vehicle charging points contributing to Net Zero targets. We are looking for a person who is keen to show enthusiasm in contributing towards these targets. Role Profile To become the single point of contact for specific Key Account customers aimed at building long lasting and influential relationships. To develop multi-level and multi-functional customer relationships including senior management and Director Level. To organise regular customer contract reviews including the preparation and development of KPI's. To be the key customer interface with various internal business functions including operations, logistics, engineering, accounts and customer care to deliver the best possible level of service. Close involvement in building customer forecasting processes aimed at managing service expectations. Preparation, submission and negotiation of major Utility Contracts. Bring to the business both customer and competitor intelligence in innovations in products and services and market price trends assisting in the development of targeted areas to grow and protect market share. Provide detailed input into the Management Plan process and monthly sales forecasts. Present regular account reviews at internal meetings and Business Reviews. To be creative to formulate and implement key Sales strategies and make business decisions. Travel will be required to customer and Prysmian sites.
