Overview
Our client, a well-established architectural practice are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team in Perth, Scotland. The successful Architectural Technologist will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the high-end residential, education, hotel and commercial sectors. Project values vary but are typically from £1m - £15m. Architectural Technologists of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply as our client are open minded when it comes to software and sector experience. The successful Architectural Technologist will primarily be working from RIBA Stage 4 onwards. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a growing team with a pipeline of exciting projects. Our client uses ArchiCAD software within the office, so experience of using this would be advantageous, however not essential as training can be provided. The successful Architectural Technologist should have excellent technical ability and should be able to provide a high-quality portfolio. This opportunity presents the successful Architectural Technologist to work on a range of Luxury High-End Bespoke Residential projects. Our client also work on a range of Commercial, Education, Residential and Eclectic projects.
Responsibilities
* Work from RIBA Stage 4 onwards on variety of residential, high-end residential and commercial projects up to the value of £15m
* Liaising with surveyors & stakeholders
* Participate in meetings with external consultants / clients
* Deliver high-quality technical and construction packages
* Produce and manage detailed drawings using ArchiCAD
* Navigate the technical requirements of various challenging projects
Qualifications
* Strong technical ability
* Live within a commutable distance to Perth
* 2 years’ + experience as an Architectural Technologist
* Hard working & motivated
* Able to work well within a team
* Strong exposure to RIBA Stages 4 onwards
* Residential experience advantageous
* Experience working on timber frame structures advantageous
