M&E Bid Manager (Electrical Bias)

Artisan Recruit are partnering with a leading M&E contractor to appoint an experienced M&E Bid Manager with a strong electrical bias. This is a key role within the pre-construction team, supporting a healthy pipeline of secured and live tenders across commercial, industrial and public sector projects.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the full bid lifecycle, managing electrical-led M&E tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission and handover.
Key responsibilities include :
* Managing the end-to-end bid process for M&E tenders
* Leading electrical estimating strategy while coordinating mechanical input
* Reviewing ITTs, drawings, specifications and employer’s requirements
* Managing internal and external stakeholders, including estimators, supply chain and consultants
* Producing bid programmes, clarifications and tender submissions
* Leading value engineering and risk / opportunity reviews
* Preparing bid presentations and attending client interviews
* Ensuring robust handover to commercial and delivery teams
About You
* Proven experience as an M&E Bid Manager or Senior Electrical Estimator
* Strong electrical background within building services (commercial / industrial projects)
* Sound understanding of mechanical services and M&E coordination
* Experienced in managing multi-discipline tenders and bid teams
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence bid strategy
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
* Organised, deadline-driven and detail-focused
