As a Solutions Architect, you excel in configuring compute, storage, and networking infrastructure, managing virtualization, and setting up operating systems, databases, and platform software. You also create clear deployment instructions and automate processes to support manufacturing and service engineering operations.
You will play an instrumental role in implementing deployment architectures that support our oncology and radiation therapy solutions in hospitals and clinics worldwide. What you’ll do at Elekta:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Implement system configurations, including compute, storage, network, virtualization, and cloud components.
* Develop clear, repeatable processes to guide manufacturing and field engineers in system deployments.
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and scalability.
* Manage hardware and software infrastructure, working with product teams to maintain catalogs and introduce replacements as needed.
* Provide pre-sales and customer support, assisting regional teams with infrastructure related escalations.

What you bring:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years experience in system engineering, infrastructure architecture, or related roles.
* Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and associated deployment tools (APIs, CLI, etc.).
* Knowledge of HP and Nvidia hardware, cloud architectures (Azure, AWS), and virtualization technologies.
* Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
* Deep knowledge of networking, storage, and security best practices.
* Experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical devices.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies in a product development setting.
