Driver and Warehouse Assistant – Flexible Hours

Overview
As a Driver and Warehouse Assistant you will deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers, provide product deliveries, support in the warehouse and occasionally serve customers on the trade counter or over the telephone. You will be contracted to a set minimum number of hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours during peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain health and safety for yourself and your vehicle.
* Keep vehicle maintenance and condition up to standard.
* Report any issues or incidents to your line manager.
* Comply with transport compliance law and regulations.
* Handle stock and deliveries.
* Support Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins.
* Maintain high standards, create and maintain a loyal customer base and provide first‑class service.
* Assist with general duties within the branch such as serving customers on the trade counter and telesales.
* Maintain housekeeping standards on the trade counter and warehousing.
Qualifications
With a clean driving licence, you ideally have previous warehouse and driving experience and knowledge of products associated with our industry would be an advantage. You will be flexible with working hours and approach to delivering customer and business needs. You will thrive on providing the best customer service and be a huge support to branch colleagues.
