We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager with experience in the Complex Care sector to join our growing team, You will collaborate with local councils,commissioning teams, and other stakeholders to secure new complex care andsupported living clients. You will focus on expanding occupancy across Complex Care, supported living, Care Homes,and childrens services.Business Development ManagerAs our business development manager, you will drive the BD strategy and establish yourself as the lead on bid and tenders to take the business forward and you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that mobilisations meet the required standard.
You will have a background in complex social care and/or residential childrens services.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure new business opportunities in the complex care market, including NHS, CCGs/ICBs, private funders, and case management companies.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholdersLead on tendering processes, bid writing, and proposal development for complex care packages and with placement teams for Childrens careWork collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new packages.Develop and implement strategic growth plans aligned with company goalsRepresent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunitiesMonitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategyMeet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets/KPIsRequirementsProven track record in business development within the complex care, healthcare, or social care sector.Strong understanding of complex care needs, including spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, and ventilated clientsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsExperience of procurement legislations and a clear grasp of procurement softwarePrevious bid writing experience and strong understanding or frameworksAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneouslySelf-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independentlyFull UK Drivers Licence and willingness to travel as neededWhat We Offer28 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)Free on-site parkingEmployee assistance schemeRemote/Hybrid WorkingCompany laptop and Mobile PhoneAll applicants will require an Enhanced DBS check.
