They now have a position open for a Landscape Estimator to support their continued growth. What we need from you: Experience in commercial landscaping preferred, or the construction industry Hold a relevant professional, technical, or management qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) and/or has relevant experience in a similar role Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex data to inform decisions Proficient in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and suppliers Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance cost and quality effectively Capable of working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment supporting the motivation of the estimating team High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organisational ability Strong client relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships Ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities with existing and new clients What the role involves: Prepare, issue, and track all commercial quotes with pre-work assistance from the Estimating Administrator Ensure that all commercial bids are of high quality, accurate, and aligned with the companys objectives Work collaboratively with the Procurement Lead to maintain a high-quality supply chain, supporting both margin and project timelines Monitor and review tender progress, providing regular updates and corrective actions as needed Support Contracts Managers by acting as a second pair of eyes to ensure jobs are delivered to budget Conduct regular site audits to assess the quality of work, cost control, and alignment with the project budget Contribute to the continuous improvement of the tendering and estimating process Build and sustain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling new services to existing clients Attend industry networking events to create business development opportunities and expand the companys presence in the market Proactively engage in identifying new business leads and collaborate with the Commercial Director to convert them into profitable contracts Introduce colleagues or specialists from the team to clients when their expertise can benefit the project or lead to further business opportunities. Salary: Competitive, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Hours: Between 7.30-4.30 Monday to Friday.
