Job Description:
Overview
Responsible for the daily and weekly financial reporting and analysis of all MOH reporting for Coventry site.
Business partner the site on shift leadership team (level 5), attend and actively participate in daily and weekly QCDM meetings.
Ownership of period end reporting, ensuring accuracy and explanation of variances.
Support the on-shift leadership team to maintain standards.
Assist Business Partner with forecasting, AOP builds, and explaining year-on-year variances.
Help deliver site financial priorities.
Ensure GCS and SOX compliance at all times.
Engage with stakeholders across site teams, especially with the on-shift leadership teams (level 5).
Responsibilities
* Manage MOH costs, ensuring correct reporting and understanding variances.
* Ensure accurate month-end MOH reporting and meet deadlines.
* Provide information for forecasts and AOP builds for SAP and TM1.
* Participate in daily and weekly QCDM, aligning cost KPIs between teams and finance.
* Use QCDM outputs to build commentary and analyze trends for period end.
* Maintain GCS and SOX compliance.
* Support other work streams as needed.
Decision-making authority:
* Period close: autonomous decisions on variances, with prior discussion with Site Finance Manager and Business Partner.
* Input provision for forecast and AOP, owning accuracy.
* Attend QCDM meetings fully prepared.
* Be knowledgeable about site to represent finance during meetings and support shift teams.
Job dimensions:
Financial:
* Manage reporting and control of >£45mm AOP spend, investigate variances, and manage accruals & prepayments.
* Ensure GCS and SOX compliance.
Non-Financial:
Build relationships with shift leadership, participate actively in QCDM, and provide challenge when appropriate.
Qualifications
* AAT qualified (or equivalent).
* Early stages of CIMA/ACCA.
* Manufacturing accounting experience.
* Experience with Lean manufacturing (QCDM).
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Results-driven and able to work under pressure.
* Influence upwards to impact results and plans.
* Strong communication skills at all levels.
