Tams Brig Surgery, Ayr is seeking to recruit a Patient Care Advisor to join our busy team. The post will be for 27 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the successful candidate being available to work between the hours of 7.45am and 5.30pm on three allocated days throughout the week.
Duties include but are not limited to;
1. Reception and administration duties including
2. Answering the telephone
3. Dealing with patients at the reception desk
4. Deal with mail, results, prescriptions and general queries
5. Scanning and filing documents to patient medical records
6. Liaising with patients, GPs, Practice Nurses and colleagues
7. Provide cover for appropriate staff as required
8. Other appropriate tasks as required by the practice
9. Care navigate patients to the most appropriate member of the health care team
10. Support patients through our practice systems
