Fixed Term Contract Team Leader
Pay rate: £16 per hour (Monthly Pay)
Shift Pattern: Fixed term contract for 9 months - 30 hours on rota and 6 hours off rota between Monday - Sunday, 8:00am - 9:00pm or 8:30pm - 8:00am
We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Willerby, Hull. This person has Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and an Acquired Brain Injury, but these do not define them. They have a wide range of hobbies and interests such as dancing, football, swimming, bowling, beach days, walking, and pub lunches. To make the most of trips out and about, we need people who are local to Willerby, Hull, know the area, and can drive a car with a full UK Driving Licence.
Enriching activities will be a key part of your support, and you will bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to truly make a difference in this person's life. You will also need to bring previous experience in the following areas:
* Team leader experience within the care sector
* Autism
* Cerebral Palsy
* Acquired Brain Injury
What will your shift involve?
In this role, you will provide high-quality care on a 2:1 during the day and 1:1 during the night, ensuring that the individual receives compassionate and tailored care. Your responsibilities include engaging in meaningful activities, supporting community outings to promote social interaction and well-being, and assisting with household tasks to maintain a comfortable and organized environment. Clear communication in their preferred manner is essential to build trust and rapport.
