Position Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with individuals of all ages to address and overcome behavioural challenges. You will provide one-on-one support, guidance, and intervention strategies tailored to each individual's unique needs. Your role will involve supporting our teachers and motivating and encouraging our pupils to achieve their personal and professional goals.

* Be excellent practitioners with high expectations of all pupils
* Be passionate about child-centred learning.
* Have excellent organisational and communication skills and enjoy working in a team
Preferably have experience of working with young people
* Have a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all
* Have enthusiasm, commitment and a positive approach and attitude.
Criteria for role:
* Previous experience working with children/young adults
* Strong understanding of behavioural principles and evidence-based intervention techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.

Location: Burgess Hill
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30am Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
