O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor on a major commercial office fit-out project in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, large-scale development, contributing to the successful delivery of a fast-paced and technically complex project.
The Role
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture across site and ensuring compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
-Supporting site teams in the implementation of health & safety policies and procedures
-Conducting regular site inspections and audits
-Identifying hazards and advising on risk mitigation
-Assisting with RAMS reviews and method statements
-Investigating incidents and producing detailed reports
-Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
-Driving continuous improvement in health & safety performance
Requirements
-Minimum 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within UK construction
-Experience working on M&E or commercial fit-out projects preferred
-NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
-Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to influence and engage with site teams
