Our client is currently looking for a Wood Machinist to join their growing team. They are a well known and respected company, with a rich heritage. They offer high quality products to their customers, and are looking for an experienced Wood Machinist to come in on a full time, permanent basis. Duties of the Wood Machinist: - Cutting timber to different lengths - Producing moldings, to fit customer specifications - Working from drawings - Keeping a clean and tidy work space - Adhering to health and Safety About You: - Must hold City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in wood machinery - Experience in a workshop environment - Experience working as a wood machinist. Salary & hours: - Salary £26,446 p/a - The working week is 38.5 hours on either a day or a back shift - Backshift has an additional shift allowance, as does nightshift. - Overtime available and paid at a premium rate.
