Job Overview
Regional Projects Lead – VIVO, Fareham, Hampshire. The role is a senior leadership position responsible for managing the successful delivery of annual Billable Works programmes and wider project activities across the region.
Responsibilities
* Build and manage a high‑performing project team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and in line with contractual commitments.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of projects – from programme development and procurement through to delivery, handover and financial close.
* Work closely with key stakeholders (DIO, TLBs and internal teams) to shape future year Billable Works programmes using asset condition data and operational priorities.
* Ensure projects meet programme milestones, budget targets and customer expectations through strong planning, governance and client engagement.
* Take full responsibility for Billable Works profit and loss performance, maintaining commercial control and ensuring budgets are achieved.
* Manage contractors and supply chain partners in line with company standards and proactively develop the supply chain to improve capacity, quality and value for money.
* Support the Head of Billable Works in strengthening governance processes to deliver projects safely, compliantly and efficiently.
* Adhere to legislative requirements, JSP standards, CDM regulations, asbestos controls and wider health, safety and environmental obligations.
* Take direct ownership of complex or high‑profile projects, providing strong leadership and effective stakeholder communication throughout delivery.
* Provide regular reporting, risk management and progress updates to senior management.
* Identify opportunities to enhance commercial performance, streamline delivery processes and improve supply chain management.
* Promote sustainability by reducing carbon emissions throughout construction phases and across the lifecycle of assets.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of the construction or facilities management sector.
* Proven experience managing projects, term contracts and operational teams.
* Commercially astute with experience in budget management.
* Confident in managing multiple stakeholders and driving quality.
* Strong leadership skills – motivating teams and creating a supportive environment.
* Experience using Microsoft Office; knowledge of Maximo is desirable.
* Experience in P&L management and commercial control of projects.
