Graduate Cloud Business Solutions Consultant (Workday) 2026

Locations: Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Glasgow, Manchester, and Woking (Nationwide)

Intakes: April 2026

You will be working with like-minded colleagues on innovative cloud projects for a range of public and private sector clients including defence, utilities and public sector to name a few. Delivering IT solutions to business needs using cutting edge Workday solutions. You’ll be supported by experts as you develop your system and consulting skills and find the ideal career path. Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

In this role you will work on projects helping to guide and transform how our global clients manage and operate, streamlining processes and enhancing business operations. You’ll be implementing solutions in core areas of a business including HR and Payroll. You will experience working through the full project lifecycle from design to go-live; delivering Workday solutions that meet and exceed the client requirements.

You will be involved in multiple aspects of project delivery, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing and project management.

We will support you to develop your skill set and accelerate your career. Through working on projects with industry leading experts you will develop your interpersonal and business / functional skills. The on-the-job training will be complimented by off the job training and the ability to gain industry recognised certifications from Workday and others, for example the Workday HCM Certification.

The role will require you to take application specific industry recognised certifications. We will provide preparation and tuition to assist you to pass the certification.

Some of our projects may require you to work on client sites which could be located in a different part of the country to where you live, meaning you could be staying away from home for up to 4 nights a week. Travel costs and hotel bills are covered by expenses.

Your Skills And Experience

* A bachelor’s degree - no matter the subject; we understand the dedication necessary to undertake a degree. We’re looking for someone who has an appetite to learn and the aptitude to understand complex topics.
* A passion for technology and the transformational impact it can have.
* A genuine enthusiasm to learn and develop an accelerated career in technology.
* Good communication skills - Whether it’s working with clients or colleagues, effective communication is fundamental in enabling high performing teams.
* Problem solving capabilities - breaking down problems, isolating root causes and proposing solutions.
* An understanding of one or more of the following is useful:
o Requirements gathering
o HR & Payroll business processes
o Technical programming protocols
o Project planning
o Testing
o Agile Methodology

Your security clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as country of residence and nationality.
