Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join its friendly and dynamic workshop team based at the Warndon Depot, Pershore Lane, Lyppard Bourne, WR4 0AA. This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to work on servicing and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles, including Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), while maintaining the company's high standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for thorough vehicle examinations, diagnosing defects, conducting servicing, maintenance, and repairs, as well as performing vehicle road testing to ensure all work meets required standards. The role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The pay rate is up to £20.00 PAYE or £25.00 PAYE Umbrella per hour. Key Responsibilities: Undertake thorough vehicle examinations to diagnose defects. Perform vehicle road testing to ensure work is completed to the correct standards. Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles including HGVs. Maintain high standards of health and safety and comply with company policies.
