Job Description
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
1. Picking and packing furniture, fixtures, fittings, and accessories efficiently according to order specifications.
2. Carefully packing items to ensure safe delivery to customers.
3. Maintaining accurate inventory records.
4. Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries.
5. Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
6. Following health and safety guidelines.
Duration: Long-term ongoing, temp-perm opportunity.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Starting wage: £12.50, approximately £500 a week.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:15, with 45-minute breaks. 40 hours per week.
Closing Date: 2025-09-09
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
* Ability to lift and move heavy items.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management.
