We are currently seeking an experiencedLoading Shovel Operatorto providead hoc temporary coverfor our client's site based inSouthampton. This is a hands-on role that will involve operating a loading shovel as well as supporting the team with general site duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently on site
* Carry out additional site duties to support the wider team and site plan
* Work closely with the team and follow instructions from the Site Manager
* Ensure high levels of plant availability and performance
* Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) procedures
* Conduct routine checks to ensure all machinery is operating safely and effectively
* Maintain good housekeeping and contribute to a safe working environment
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience operating aLoading Shovelin a similar environment
* Valid ticket/certification for operating Loading Shovel (e.g. NPORS or CPCS)
* Strong understanding of site health and safety practices
* Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team
* Willingness to undertake other duties as needed to support site operations
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
