About the role
We have a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our Cardiff office, working as part of the largest independent consulting engineering firm of its kind. This role is based in our new City Centre Office during an exciting growth phase.

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the design of complex engineering projects, collaborating with team members, and taking ownership of project tasks. You will develop relationships with other professionals to foster future business growth.
In this role, you can expect to:
* Provide detailed, coordinated, and cost-efficient electrical design advice to our clients.
* Develop specifications, calculations, and reports tailored to project needs.
* Design electrical systems using the latest software tools.
* Ensure technical delivery either independently or as part of a team.
* Innovate and research new working methods to stay competitive.
* Produce clear calculations, reports, and specifications.
* Attend client meetings and site inspections.
* Manage your own projects with minimal supervision, reacting efficiently to multiple deadlines.
About you
To succeed, you should have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
* Experience with modern technical delivery processes and software such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
* Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design or consultancy role.
* Self-awareness, openness, and a spirit of generosity.
* Experience supporting others in developing skills and confidence.
