As a Security Intelligence Specialist at Cadent, you will play a key role in identifying and assessing threats to our people, infrastructure and strategic objectives. This is a unique opportunity to apply your analytical expertise to help shape a secure and resilient organisation.
You will monitor and assess a wide range of physical and environmental threats, including criminal activity, insider risks, and extremist group activity. Working closely with cyber intelligence colleagues, you will deliver converged threat assessments and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions and security strategy.
This is a highly visible role where you will represent Cadent across the energy sector, government forums and law enforcement networks. You will also lead the production of intelligence bulletins, support incident response, and contribute to national security initiatives.

You are a skilled intelligence analyst with a strong understanding of physical security, threat monitoring and strategic assessment.
Qualifications & Experience – Membership of a recognised security institution (or willingness to work towards), with a proven track record in intelligence analysis and security reporting.
Analytical Expertise – Ability to condense complex information into clear, actionable insights and produce high-quality intelligence products.
Security Knowledge – Understanding of counterintelligence, insider threats, and national security vetting (SC level or willingness to obtain).
Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief stakeholders at all levels.
Professional Integrity – High level of discretion and commitment to handling sensitive data responsibly.
