Job Title: QESH Health and Safety Coordinator – East Kilbride (Permanent)

About the Site: East Kilbride Operations produce 32 million raw cases of drinks annually across four lines (2 glass, 2 PET). It’s the only site in GB producing Appletiser in glass. By 2024, the site will employ 220 staff, offering excellent career opportunities across GB and Europe.
Role Overview: Support audit processes, conduct health & safety and environmental checks, implement risk assessments (COSHH, Fire, DSEAR, ATEX, Noise, Asbestos). Manage incidents, update preventative plans, coordinate occupational health surveillance, and ensure safety inductions for new staff.
Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with legal updates, follow safety procedures, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support team and site goals.
Skills & Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely (essential), NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable), environmental qualification (advantage). Experience in risk assessments, FMCG manufacturing, incident investigation. Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, understanding of manufacturing H&S risks.
