Part Time Accounts Manager

15 hours a week over 2- 3 days per week
£28,000 - £35,000 full time equivalent
Our client is a growing business based in Shrewsbury, currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Manager to join them in a permanent role. While this position does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the accounts and oversee the day-to-day office functions.
The responsibilities of the Accounts Manager will include:
* Purchase and sales ledger
* Credit control
* Accruals and prepayments
* VAT returns
* Budgets
* Monitoring cashflow
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Oversee the running of the office
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. This is a pivotal position within the business, so previous experience in a similar role is essential. The company uses Xero accounting software - experience with Xero is desirable but not essential.
