As our department continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated individual passionate about working in the education sector and supporting students in developing practical carpentry skills. Responsibilities: Main duties will include supporting the teachers in the workshop developing students' practical carpentry skills, supervising students, ordering materials, stock taking along with general duties to ensure the workshops are kept to a high standard. It is essential you are able to work within a team. Essential Experience: Qualified to a minimum of level 2 in a recognised carpentry or wood trade. Willing to support across all the trade areas we offer, these include; plumbing, electrical installation and wood trades to which training and support will be provided. A good communicator and enthusiastic about working in the Education sector. The ideal candidate will be confident and must enjoy working with students of all ages, especially those aged 16-18.
