Specialist Learning Support Worker
Up to 25 hours per week, 36 weeks per year
£29,158 - £30,948 per annum (pro rata)
We are looking for an experienced Specialist Learning Support Worker to join our Learner Support team.You will support D/deaf learners with additional learning difficulties and disabilities in all aspects of their College programmes using various communication methods.
Ideally, you will have:
* Level 2 British Sign Language or equivalent
* Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
* Experience of supporting D/deaf students in educational settings particularly Further Education.
* Experience of keeping and maintaining records
* Be able to adapt their signing skills in order to meet the needs of the D/deaf learners.
