Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team. To maximise the efficient running of the Sales Department by performing routine and non-routine administration tasks and providing a proactive Customer Service level of the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
* To provide First Class customer service at all times, fulfilling all customer requests in a time-sensitive manner; ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with the company’s policies.
* Process customer enquiries, quotations and ensuring sample requests are despatched in a timely manner.
* Undertake order input and contract review in accordance with the Sales Office procedure, together with liaising with Production/Planning and Material Controls to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Receive and deal with customer complaints and follow through until a resolution is found, liaising with both the customer and internal QA Department at all times.
* Provide a support function to External Account Managers. Work collaboratively with External Account Manager and customer to ensure their requirements and expectations are managed.
* To understand, progress and perform in achieving clear KPI’s such as minimising Aged Stock, maintaining a high percentage of O.T.I.F. and achieving Sales Budget.
* To housekeep, maintain and populate Open CRM with detailed entries referencing activity, meetings, quotes, sampling.
* To comply with all Health & Safety regulations and work within the Company’s rules and procedures, ensuring that safe working practices are followed at all times.
* To undertake other work, for which training has been given within the Company, as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives and vision.
* Understand the Sales strategy for Sharpak Aylesham to achieve sales targets and help contribute towards growth.
* Fully understand the short-, mid- and long-term objectives of all customers to ensure the account is managed appropriately to main customer satisfaction.
* Identify and build credible relationships with all customers with exceptional customer service at the forefront.
* Maintain a commercial awareness of customer trading position to ensure opportunities, risks or threats are actioned appropriately.
* Work collaboratively with External Account Manager to create a proactive strategy for each customer to develop their account plan to include mutual objectives, performance reviews, expectations and useful customer details.
QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
* GCSE English and Maths C or above or equivalent is essential.
* Experience in Excel & Word is essential.
* Strong communication, sales and presentation skills is essential.
* Experience with dealing with customer request and resolving issues is essential.
* To be flexible with a proactive manner, as a self-starter with the drive to achieve results is essential.
* To be an excellent communicator both verbally and written using a range of effective techniques is essential.
* To be able to build effective relationships with customer and colleagues is essential.
* Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations is essential.
* Significant experience of packaging technology procedures and practices in FMCG including food manufacturing will be advantageous.
* Significant year of experience and knowledge of the produce and food service industry will be advantageous
