What you will do:
- Assess and manage a complex caseload of patients with a range of cognitive communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to effectively address clients’ needs.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Provide expert advice and training to other healthcare professionals, patients, and families on communication and swallowing issues.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
What we are looking for:
We require a degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration. Candidates must have recent UK or NHS post-qualifying experience as a Speech and Language Therapist and extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation. Management skills in cognitive communication, dysphagia, and dysarthria are essential. You should be able to work autonomously while also thriving as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
