A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of innovative solutions for residential, commercial and industrial markets.
This role focuses on managing customer and supplier complaints across multiple sectors, offering the chance to make a real impact on quality performance.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Manage and resolve customer complaints, acting as the primary quality contact
* Lead 8D problem x2011;solving activities and drive structured root x2011;cause analysis
* Prepare clear, data x2011;driven reports for customers, suppliers and internal teams
* Chair and coordinate corrective and preventive action activities
* Work cross x2011;functionally to communicate customer requirements and meet agreed timescales
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer position or similar
* Strong understanding of 8D, FAIRs and associated quality tools
* Experience handling customer claims and conducting supplier audits
* Knowledge of Control Plans, FMEA and PPAP documentation
