We are looking for a new Small Animal Vet to join the team at Garden Veterinary Group in Chippenham, Wiltshire. A little bit about us: We are a large, sociable team of 8 Vets, 9 RVNs and 2 SVNs, plus experienced receptionists and support team. Excellent facilities including laboratory, in house blood machines, digital x-ray suite, dental x-ray, ultrasound scanner. Our RCVS accredited practice has been established in the community for over 60 years and enjoys a location on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Bath. The Role: Full-time – 4 days per week with a fixed non-working day (part-time, 3 days per week considered for the right applicant) 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, with time off in lieu Shifts are a mix of 8-6, 8:30-6:30 and 9-7 No OOHs – this is covered by a designated OOH service The role will be a mix of consulting and operating. It will enable you to develop a varied caseload, where continuity of care, a positive working culture and high clinical standards are imperative. We strive for a good work-life balance, with multiple periods of admin time over the day, a designated lunch break and consults finishing 30mins before your finish time. We aim to progress as a practice with monthly team meetings and clinical clubs, and we encourage all new ideas and developments within the team. Our ideal candidate: We are keen to welcome a talented Vet with a positive, supportive, professional nature to join our friendly and highly skilled experienced team. We have members of the team with interests in imaging, internal medicine, emergency care and dentistry. We are seeking an individual who is confident in handling routine operations, managing and work up of routine medical cases and inpatients. Additionally, they should be keen to be involved in more complex surgeries and further develop their skills with the support of experienced colleagues. So, what can Garden Vets offer me?
