Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.
* Assist with food preparation in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant standards.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all items are presented beautifully.
* Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Requirements
* Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of front of house operations.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe dining environment.
* Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A passion for providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest experiences through upselling techniques.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
