Corporate Tax Manager

The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to strengthen their tax team, develop the service line, and support the ongoing growth of their client base. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing the delivery of corporate tax compliance services, and providing ad-hoc advisory support when needed. You'll also identify opportunities to introduce additional services that could benefit clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver corporate tax compliance and, where appropriate, advisory services
* Manage client relationships and ensure all statutory and internal deadlines are met
* Plan and oversee the tax compliance process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Review technical and financial work prepared by colleagues
* Identify opportunities for clients through tax calculations and record reviews
* Use technology to streamline processes and improve client outcomes
* Promote collaboration across different service lines within the business
About You
* CTA qualified, with at least 5 years' experience in tax (ideally in practice)
* Previous management or supervisory experience is an advantage
* Skilled in managing workflows in a practice environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Commercially aware, with sound judgement and attention to detail
* Organised, adaptable, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Confident leading projects and supporting team development
Location: York or Leeds
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week) hybrid
Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience
