We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You’ll be working 42 hours per week (to include days, nights, and alternate weekends on a rota basis) at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood. Cygnet Hospital Sherwood is our state-of-the-art PICU and Acute hospital for men, in Nottinghamshire. The service features three wards, including a 12 bed PICU ward and two 16 bed acute wards. Cygnet Hospital Sherwood has a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and will support the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment. We’re focused on length of stay and making sure individuals move as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them. Individuals can step down through the pathways available within Cygnet services. Referrals can come to us from all areas, including acute and prison services. Your day-to-day… Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments & observations Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & mainta ined collectively with residents, relatives & other healthcare professionals Administer medicines within healthcare procedure & Healthcare Commission guidelines Why Cygnet?
