Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster and kinship carers to ensure safe and supportive environments for children
* Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers and kinship placements, promoting stability and wellbeing
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cohesive support plans tailored to each child’s needs
* Maintain accurate and timely records, including case notes, reports, and care plans
* Deliver training and development programs to carers, supporting continuous learning and skills enhancement
* Actively contribute to team meetings, offering ideas and strategies to improve service delivery
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
* Experience in fostering, kinship, or child care social work
* Strong communication, assessment, and report writing skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
