Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Sector Opportunity
This is an exciting role for a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Water sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects with water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands area, with opportunities to work in the North West of England in consultancy roles.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in pre- and post-contract management in NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC form and procurement within the UK water, environment, rail, or nuclear sector. You will also have experience working with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build major capital programmes.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to utilise your major project experience and knowledge to drive efficiencies and effective supply chain engagement and contract management. You will also have the opportunity to progress between UK water, environment, rail, or nuclear sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
* NEC3/4 Option A, Option C, Option E ECC Contract management and administration client side
* Budget control
* Payment valuation and assisting the PM in payment certification
* Actual cost forecasting and Defined Cost determination
* Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Full Membership of chartered body such as RICS or a substantively progressed route on an approved APC pathway.
* A wealth of experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water, and/or Environment.
* Line Management and recruitment experience of Quantity Surveyors or Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
* CDM regulation knowledge and experience.
* Risk management experience
* Valid CSCS card, with Water Hygiene Card desirable.
* Main contractor and/or joint venture experience working client side
* Site presence and co-location minimum 3 days a week
* An experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have)
* You must have the right to work in the UK
